I love to bake! One of my fondest childhood memories is spending time in the kitchen with my mom as she taught me the skills of baking for the family. As well as being influenced by my aunts and grandma too, it was apparent that the time they took to create these sweet treats was a way of showing their love. I have carried my love of baking throughout my adult life with baking for family and friends.
Now with 30 years in the medical field under my belt, I decided to pursue that baking passion. In June 2015, I graduated from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts (Baking and Pastry Arts) in Vancouver BC. I’ve worked in the industry for just a short time but have been encouraged to start my own business. So The White Oven was born. Now people are enjoying the new skills I’ve acquired in new recipes as well as family favourites too. Please join me in this journey of Bringing Happiness Through Baking.
